Information for authors

Papers should not have previously appeared in, or be currently submitted to, any other conference or journal. All papers will be reviewed carefully by the Program Committee members.

 

Research can be submitted as a long paper (no more than eigth (8) pages) or short paper (4 pages). Long papers should include a significant contribution to the state of the art. Short papers should include an augmentation or new application of existing work. Short papers can also contain the mature seeds of new research or work that is of interest to the Soft Computing community.

Papers should be submitted electronically (in english or spanish language and in pdf format) using EasyChair. All accepted papers will appear in the official ENC'16 proceedings and just those written in english will be published in the ACM Digital library. All accepted papers in WSCA'16 will be presented at the conference during oral sessions (20-30 minute talks).

ACM Formatting

Authors are invited to submit papers in ACM style including results, figures and references. Please prepare your paper(s) for the submission following the ACM formatting guidelines.

 

 


 

Student participation is highly encouraged, be it submitting and presenting a paper, attending the conference, or volunteering at the conference.

 

 
 
Best Selected Papers


The Conference Organizers are glad to announce that we will prepare Special Issues of Komputer Sapiens journal from the best selected papers of the WSCA 2016. Selected works will have to be extended with at least 40% of new material and the paper will receive another review.
